When you notify your merchants about their
Business Center
merchant account and
log-in credentials, you should use this time to begin a conversation about the tasks
your merchants are responsible for. Similar to how you, as a partner, had to assemble an
operations team, your merchant organization must consider who is in charge of the
different responsibilities within their Business Center
accounts, such as:- API integration
- Merchant journey
- Reporting
Your merchant organizations are responsible for maintaining their business information.
The individuals with access to a transacting merchant account can update their business
information in the
Business Center
, such as:- Business name
- Description of business
- Address
- Website URL
- Tax ID
- Business contact information
- Emergency contact information
Notify merchants that the individuals in their operations team who
are given permission to log in to the
Business Center
have access to personal
identifiable information (PII).
