Editing Templates {#templates-editing}
======================================

You can update a template as necessary.  
To update a boarding template for a merchant account:

1. Follow the steps to [retrieve a template](/docs/vas/en-us/boarding/developer/all/rest/boarding/templates-tasks/templates-retrieving.md "").
2. Next to the template you want to modify, click the **Edit** icon.
3. Edit the existing template.
4. Click **Save**.
